It was a Great Trip the weather held up and we were very happy in how the RV performed. This was the longest we stayed in it and it didn’t seem cramped or too small. It was very easy to get around even in the city. Once we understood the best way to drive it even got better!

Does this make my butt look big?

The last couple of days or should I say daze, my owners are just really flipping out. They are just going to door and turning around and coming back. But now they’re doing many times a day, like they just forgot they just did it. Also they act like I don’t know what is going on.. They’re just trying to trick me.. giving me this great treat, a cow’s hoof. I never seen one up close, but I got to admit I like to lick their feet, if I ever meet one. So they keep on waiting for this amazing transformation to take place, cuz they’re giving these pills. Huh, they do nothing, I can eat them like popcorn, so I say keep giving me the hoof. Anyway, I’m happy as a clam as they’re really taking me for long walks and pretty much I have them eating out of my paw..

Hey everyone, just want you to know that I just love finding moles in the front yard! Not only our yard any place, I’ll dig and dig until I can stick my head in the ground. I love it! But anyway that’s another story. So, my owners took me to another doggie vet, as I guess I needed it. So there I was in a little room with Dr Wagel, he’s got really nice energy and warm hands. So he’s giving me a once over and then says to my owners that I got a ‘foxtail’ in my ear.. at least that what I thought he said.. So I guess it was way down there, next to my ear drum. So the Doctor was saying I might have to be sedated, since it was really deep and they said if I move around they might puncture my ear. I gave my owner a look like I’ll be good, don’t put me under, cuz ya never know. Anyway the put this cone way down in my ear and I kept really still and bingo bango they just pulled that sucker out. Now I’m not scratching my ear as much.. Then they celebrated by giving me 4 shots..

Anyway that was yesterday.. Today the big white truck came by and delivered my meds..whatever that means.. So I overheard that they are starting to give them to me tomorrow. Oh, I forgot to mention on they gave me something called ‘valium’, it made me a little drowsy after about an hour and then I snoozed for about 15 min and I was up and just happy as a clam.

Well I met a nice lady named Chris and she came by and gave me the once over.. I think she’s a doctor or something cuz she gave me a ‘prescription’, whatever that means.. Anyway, my owners rushed out to get it filled. I don’t why it took so long cuz it’s a really small bottle and it rattles when you shake it.

So today they walked me real good.. I must pooh’d three times and really just had the best time. So later on they gave me a special “med treat”.. and then raw hide.. what a day!

• Yes again we’re late.. (and it’s even later, like 11:00PM)

• Our dog trainer wanted us to track Sammy’s progress.. (hence the Sammy’s Blog )

Ok, I get it, it’s raining outside, but I like the rain.. But nooooo, they make me wear this thing..cuz I guess it’s easier for them to dry me off.. but it really makes me feel, well less then the wild dog that I really am.

Anyway, they take me out for my regular walkie and then bring me in.. then an hour later guess what? Well I’ll tell you what.. they’re doing it again.. no not that.. the putting on the shoes and going to the door thing.. Yep several times, each time I get up and go with them only to see them turn around and sit back down where they keep the food.

It’s getting worse, now they’re turning the lock..to open the door.. I know it as my ears perk up.. but nada, nothing happens.. I think I got really dumb owners..

So here I am just hanging out and my owners start losing it! They start acting like they’re going to leave, put their jackets and shoes on, grab the house keys and head towards the door. So get this, they get to the door and then just turn around head back into the kitchen (where they keep the good stuff) and sit down. Then in a little while, again I’m not to sure as the time thing is just so foreign to me, they do it again. And again, and again.. If I could count I would tell you how many times, but it’s got to be as many times as I pee on a walk. Anyway, for the having such big heads, ya think they would make up their minds.. They’re driving me crazy!!

Jeez, these guy’s are really funny! Get this they decided I needed to go to a obedience class. Like I need training.. So they take to this class to get me to ‘listen’?!! Say what? That’s what I said.. I know how to sit and lie down, I do it all the time.. Sure they tried to bribe me and of course I accepted.. so when I was in the class I pretty much “owned it”, yep I definitely got it.. But that’s there and now were back the ‘crib’ chillin out and I say class? Yeah I got class..

So after awhile they decided that the first class wasn’t working too good.. like it’s my fault or something.. Get this they enrolled me in something called “Diva’s & Drama Queens” and yes it was in San Francisco.. Well I almost dumped a load right then & there.. but I was cool, I met a nice chick called Lisa, who really connected with me.. She was great, but I must admit she had me at “Sit”..

I think this class really worked for me.. First of all I get way more treats, for just just looking at them.. How easy is that.. They thought I afraid of the ‘clicker’, so now I got them making a ‘clucking sound’ right before they give a treat.. isn’t that just the ‘best’!!

Anyway, I gained ten pounds and I get fed when I’m on walks.. All I have to do is ‘whimper’ at truck or another dog and whammo the ‘cluck’ comes out followed by a nice treat… life is great..

Ok.. here’s my story.. I was pup in Bakersfield CA and something happened, I don’t know what.. But all of the sudden I was on the streets. Who knows how long I was on my own, cuz I really don’t have any conception of time. Anyway, I was picked up by this large truck and put in a place with lot’s of screaming dogs.. I couldn’t even tell you how I felt, but I really didn’t like that place. So after a while they moved me up to Sacramento, cuz a nice lady overheard that I was going to be ‘put down’, whatever that means.. She placed in the care of Nancy, who kept me for awhile, again I’m not too sure cuz the time thing. Eventually these two people came up to visit and took me to their home. I was a tad scared, cuz the guy had grey hair, I can make out the grey color.. I have a hard time with red tough. Also, there was this cute girl with him, who I instantly knew was the smarter of the two.

So now I’m responsible for them and they need a lot of training as I really don’t like to be left alone. I guess it’s because of my upbringing. Who really knows.. but every time they try to leave me I howl and they just come back.. I guess the howling works..
